apsi promotes quality of life by focusing on healthy buildings, indoor and outdoor environmental quality, and resilience. At apsi, we believe smart buildings are healthy buildings so our work focuses on green building standards that prioritize human, ecological health, and community resilience. It is why we rely on building certification standards like LEED, WELL, and Fitwel.
Environmental Quality
We work with multiple industry sectors, helping to address factors that impact quality of life. These factors may include air quality, extreme temperatures, access to food, education and community resilience. apsi supports Living Future’s Declare, a platform to share and find healthy building products.
Economic Impact
Communities thrive when individual basic needs are met, are affordable and equitably assessable. We help organizations identify and promote equitable environmental solutions through outreach, data collection and education. In this case, apsi supports Living Future’s Just label. It invites organizations to evaluate themselves through a social justice and equity lens.
